Vintage gas stove — Lexington-Fayette, KY

What affects the price

The final price for a new gas fireplace depends on a few moving parts. First, you have to consider whether you are installing a unit into an existing chimney or creating a new opening in a wall, which adds labor. The type of venting required and the current proximity of your gas lines also play a big role in the complexity of the install. Aesthetic choices, like premium stone surrounds or remote-controlled flame features, will adjust the total as well.

About this service

Maintaining a vintage gas stove requires a delicate touch to preserve its character while ensuring it meets modern safety standards. These units often use older ignition systems that can be temperamental. You need this service if your classic stove is leaking, failing to light, or if you want to perform a restoration-focused safety check. We troubleshoot antique parts and perform careful cleaning to keep your vintage unit operational without compromising the charm of the original design and build.

Many people think about fireplaces only in the cold, but summer is actually a great time to schedule an installation. Since demand is lower, you can often get your project finished without the long wait times seen during the peak winter months, making sure you are ready before the first frost arrives.
