Best fireplace gas insert — Lexington-Fayette, KY

What affects the price

The final price for a new gas fireplace depends on a few moving parts. First, you have to consider whether you are installing a unit into an existing chimney or creating a new opening in a wall, which adds labor. The type of venting required and the current proximity of your gas lines also play a big role in the complexity of the install. Aesthetic choices, like premium stone surrounds or remote-controlled flame features, will adjust the total as well.

About this service

Finding the right gas insert is about matching your room size to the unit’s heat output and finding a design that fits your home. The best options offer high efficiency, easy-to-use controls, and realistic flame patterns. You should consider an insert if you have a drafty wood-burning fireplace that you rarely use. We help you evaluate your heating needs and aesthetic preferences to select a model that provides consistent warmth while operating cleanly and reliably for your family.

Many people think about fireplaces only in the cold, but summer is actually a great time to schedule an installation. Since demand is lower, you can often get your project finished without the long wait times seen during the peak winter months, making sure you are ready before the first frost arrives.
