Direct vent gas fireplace — Odessa, TX

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for a new gas fireplace depends on a few moving parts. First, you have to consider whether you are installing a unit into an existing chimney or creating a new opening in a wall, which adds labor. The type of venting required and the current proximity of your gas lines also play a big role in the complexity of the install. Aesthetic choices, like premium stone surrounds or remote-controlled flame features, will adjust the total as well.

About this service

These fireplaces use a sealed system that draws outside air for combustion and vents exhaust directly back outdoors. They are highly efficient and keep your indoor air quality stable. You need this service if your direct vent unit is showing error codes, struggling to vent properly, or needs a seasonal safety check. Because these units are sealed, they require specialized knowledge to open and service correctly. We ensure the vent pipes are clear and the burner is calibrated for clean operation.

Many people think about fireplaces only in the cold, but summer is actually a great time to schedule an installation. Since demand is lower, you can often get your project finished without the long wait times seen during the peak winter months, making sure you are ready before the first frost arrives.
