Last updated: September 24, 2026

That subtle smell of gas or the feeling that your fireplace isn't heating your Denver home like it used to – these are the first signs that something might be off. Living in a place like Denver means embracing the outdoors, but when the chill sets in, you want your indoor sanctuary to be perfectly comfortable. Unlike the flatter plains, the mountain air can make comfort a priority. Are you wondering if your gas insert is performing at its best, or if it’s time for a tune-up? Perhaps you're looking to install a new one to complement your living space. We know you need clear answers from professionals you can trust. Don't let minor issues turn into bigger headaches. We're here to make getting the right service simple and straightforward for you.

What affects the price

The final price for a new gas fireplace depends on a few moving parts. First, you have to consider whether you are installing a unit into an existing chimney or creating a new opening in a wall, which adds labor. The type of venting required and the current proximity of your gas lines also play a big role in the complexity of the install. Aesthetic choices, like premium stone surrounds or remote-controlled flame features, will adjust the total as well.

About this service

When you have a gas insert already installed in your fireplace, it requires specific maintenance to function correctly. This service involves cleaning the internal components, checking the gasket seals, and ensuring the ventilation pathways are clear. You need this if you notice a drop in heat or if the pilot light is flickering. Properly maintaining an insert ensures it remains a safe and effective way to heat your room without the mess or maintenance of a wood-burning fire.

Many people think about fireplaces only in the cold, but summer is actually a great time to schedule an installation. Since demand is lower, you can often get your project finished without the long wait times seen during the peak winter months, making sure you are ready before the first frost arrives.
